# Fireflies

The Fireflies connector gives the agent access to your meeting transcripts — listing, searching, and extracting action items from recorded calls.

## What It Enables

| Tool                       | Capability | Description                                                                                             |

| `list_transcripts`         | `read`     | List recent meeting transcripts with title, date, duration, and summary                                 |
| `get_recent_meetings`      | `read`     | Get meetings from a time period (today, this week, last 30 days, etc.) with optional participant filter |
| `get_transcript`           | `read`     | Read the full transcript of a meeting including speaker-attributed sentences and action items           |
| `search_transcripts`       | `read`     | Search transcripts by keyword and return matching excerpts                                              |
| `get_meeting_action_items` | `read`     | Extract action items, decisions, and key points from a specific meeting                                 |
| `get_user_info`            | `read`     | Return the authenticated Fireflies user profile and usage                                               |

All tools are read-only.

## Setup

**Required:** Fireflies API key.

**Where to find it:** [app.fireflies.ai → Integrations → API](https://app.fireflies.ai/integrations/api).

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Tools**.
2. Click the **Fireflies** tile.
3. In Fireflies, go to **Integrations → API** and copy your API key.
4. Paste it into the Fireflies connector field and click **Verify & Save**.

Your API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
