# Email (AgentMail)

The Email connector lets the agent send and receive email through an AgentMail inbox, with a Slack-based draft review flow built in.

## What It Enables

The default flow is always draft-first: the agent creates a draft, posts an interactive Block Kit preview to Slack with **Approve & Send** / **Discard** buttons, and waits. The email is never sent until a human clicks Approve.

## Setup

**Required:** AgentMail API key and inbox email address.

**Where to find it:** [app.agentmail.to](https://app.agentmail.to) → API Keys.

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Tools**.
2. Click the **Email** tile.
3. Sign up at [agentmail.to](https://agentmail.to) and create an inbox.
4. Copy your API key from the AgentMail dashboard.
5. Paste the API key and the inbox address into the credential fields and click **Verify & Save**.

Your API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
