# Cursor

Launch and manage Cursor background agents — trigger AI coding tasks on a GitHub repository and get a PR back — from Slack.

## What It Enables

| `stop_agent`             | `destructive` | Pause a running agent (can be resumed with add\_followup)    |

| `get_agent_conversation` | `read`        | Get the full conversation history of an agent                |
| `list_repositories`      | `read`        | List accessible GitHub repositories (rate-limited: 1/min)    |
| `get_cursor_info`        | `read`        | Get information about the API key in use                     |

`launch_agent` and `add_followup` require approval by default. `stop_agent` and `delete_agent` require destructive confirmation.

## Setup

**Required:** Cursor API key

**Where to find it:** [cursor.com/settings → API](https://www.cursor.com/settings)

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Tools**.
2. Click the **Cursor** tile.
3. In your Cursor account settings, generate an API key.
4. Paste the key into the credential field and click **Verify & Save**.

Your API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
