## Setup

**Required:** Carta OAuth client ID and client secret

**Where to find them:** [app.carta.com → Developer Settings → OAuth apps](https://app.carta.com/developers)

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Tools**.
2. Click the **Carta** tile.
3. Register an OAuth app in Carta's developer settings and note the client ID and client secret.
4. Enter both values in the connector fields and click **Verify & Save**.

Your client secret is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Carta issues short-lived bearer tokens automatically.

## Example Prompts

> "What does the current cap table look like — fully diluted ownership by stakeholder group?"

> "Is our 409A valuation still current, or is it near expiry?"

> "Show me fund performance for our main fund — IRR and TVPI."
