# DeepSeek

Use your own DeepSeek API key to let the agent use DeepSeek models for specific tasks.

## Setup

**Required:** DeepSeek API key

**Where to find it:** [platform.deepseek.com/api\_keys](https://platform.deepseek.com/api_keys)

1. In the Notara dashboard, go to **Settings → AI Providers**.
2. Click **Add key** next to DeepSeek.
3. Paste your key and click **Save**.

Your key is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Notara will use it for tasks routed to DeepSeek models.
